TANNING TIPS - PREP

Manicure & Pedicure
Get your mani/pedi before your spray tan. Make sure you wash off any oils or lotions they put on you as they will act as a barrier against the solution.

Shave, Wax, Pluck
Wax, shave and/or pluck 24 hours prior to spray tanning. Doing these too close to your spray tan session may cause the solution to get caught in your pores.
​

Exfoliate
We recommend exfoliating at least 12-24 hours before sunless tanning for the best results.
​

What To Wear During
During your spray tan you can wear a bathing suit, underwear. and/or bra or go nude. We provide a disposable panty for minimal tan lines if desired.

TANNING TIPS - AFTERCARE​

Showering
Once you are ready to shower it is important to NOT use a heavy soap because the residue could strip and fade the tan unevenly. We always suggest a thorough rinse and only soap in the necessary areas. We really like Sjolie Sunless Shower Gel for your post tan rinse!

Moisturize
Moisturize right when you get out of the shower. Use a nice thick moisturizer that doesn't contain heavy oils. We really like Sjolie Body Renew Moisturizer

Hydrate
Drink plenty of water. Although it doesn't seem necessary when spray tanning it is so important to keep your skin hydrated. This will ensure a longer tan that will fade evenly.

Maintain
Use the Sjolie Sunless Skincare products to maintain your spray tan for the longest wear possible. We love Sjolie Tan Extend or Bronzing Mousse.

What To Wear After
After your spray tan wear something loose. light and dark in color. Sandals or slides are highly recommended.
